自, or zì in pinyin, means, variously:

self,

one’s own,

Chinese characters are often untranslatable, encompassing in a single sound a range of concepts which to the western mind seem disjunctive. To me, 自 speaks of centre. Of centredness. Of integrity. I like it. That’s why I chose to have it in my logo.
